I'm horrible at this

Ok I admit I'm Horrible at keeping up with this blog. But I try. I can barely get away for 15 mins in the bathroom so by the time i remember it's 2 days later. These Two Boys! Today, I've dealt with Isaac messing with our vcr. He keeps wanting to rewind the same spots on the Care Bears Movie and Bryce is getting upset cause he wants to watch it. In the middle of it Isaac tells me to close my eyes and go to sleep so he can have the vcr to himself. I put his butt down for a nap. I made Daryl wake up to bathe them cause I just don't think it's fair for him to sleep ALL day everyday and leave me to feed, bathe, play, put to bed/nap. and everything else he could help do. And FYI he does sleep all day. getting up for a meal if that. Well Bryce took a late long nap but he just would not wake and stay up, So I'm downing coffee tonight so I can stay up as late as possible to watch him, cause I know he's gonna be up LATE! Man I'm doomed!

I've Been Slow

It's been 3 days since my last entry. My days have been so hectic. Like just now Bryce took off all his clothes as we are leaving to Mcdonalds. I'm gonna try and post as the day goes along so that maybe i can give better details and stay on task. talk to you later! well after Mcdonalds we came back home and the boys did surprisly good for their nap. Well Isaac at least. I've decided to let bryce stay up so he will go to bed at night. This staying up after midnight is killing me.
Isaac threw his flip flop in the neighbor's backyard yesterday, (his way of going over there to play) and i forgot to go ask to get it.So today as we go outside that's what he wants his flip flop. so after struggling with him to get off the fence. I get niave and believe that he's just going to get his flipflop. I was wrong. He wanted to play. I don't even know if she saw us back there. I go get him and carry his behind home, him screaming and pushing me away the whole 10 feet. Well he keeps trying to go next door so i keep fighting with him to get off the fence. So I just bring him inside. The boys helped with some chores:unloading the dishwasher and putting pots away. and wiping counters and the dinner table. Now to put them to bed! Hopefully soon!

Could it get any better?

Just wanted to inform: I made an entry of Sunday, but don't know where it went. I can't remember what I said so there's no Sunday! Well I woke up with both boys back in my bed, this morning. We spent the morning in the backyard.Daryl mowed the grass and Isaac desperately wanted to help. He didn't though and he doesn't realize that in a few years he'll be doing yardwork and will more than likely hate it. We did let him water the grass, but he still wanted to play with the mower, weed eater and my gardening tools. Bryce stayed on the porch and painted , his stomach, face, left ear and hair. We just rinsed him off with the hose. We brought them inside and gave them a bath.

They actually took a nap today! What's even more exciting is that after their bath Isaac came and put his pull-up on and gave me a kiss and told me he was going to take a nap. We didn't even have to tell him to take a nap! It was nice not having to fight to get them to take a nap. Bryce even went willing to his bed! Couldn't have went any smoother.

After naps the boys did some chores. Bryce helped put clothes in the dryer, and Isaac helped clean and sweep the living room. Bryce went booboo on his own today! We ordered pizza for supper and the boys each ate 2 whole pieces. Even Isaac, he usually just eats the toppings but he ate all of it tonight. Could this day get any better?! We went back outside after supper. But not for long. We are currently watching Spongebob Squarepants cartoons.Til the boys crash. Their reward for doing such a great job!

Topic: Movie and Dinner
The boys navigated into our bed at 5 this morning and we escorted them back in their beds. At 930 i roll over to find bryce in between me and daryl, with no clothes on..He's butt naked. Luckily he didn't pee on one of us. LOL.
We took the boys to the movies today, to go see Madagascar. They loved it. Isaac already new some of the characters names after 10 mins of watching it. They ate a small bag of popcorn and some M&M's and shared a soda. After the movie we took them to McDonalds to eat and play. And Play they did, We were there for over an hour and Isaac played the whole time and made a friend. A little boy about 2 or 3 with a Mohawk. He was cute. I'm thinking of having Bryce get one.LOL.After Mcdonalds we came home and the boys watched one Spongebob episode before bed. Overall today was very active and fun! Boy am I pooped..

Good Friday or is it?
Topic: Hot day
The boys actually stayed in their bed the whole night but decided to wake up at 6 am. So it begins, Daryl comes in and sees Bryce on the stairs, Bryce had thrown up, he ate some of my deodorant! But he was fine. Bryce falls back asleep about 730 and stays asleep most of the morning. Me and Isaac watch Sesame Street on Noggin and PBS and then head outside for the morning. We come back inside around 11 and we wake up Daryl and Bryce. The boys stay calm for most of the afternoon. Isaac helped make meatballs for the meatball subs we had for dinner. He tries to get carried away with cooking and wants to turn the meatballs in the hot skillet but i was just to paranoid that he was going to hurt himself really bad.Daryl took Bryce with him to the store, so it's just me and Isaac at home for a little while. Me and Isaac go outside and it's blazing out there he only stays out for a min and runs back in. After supper we all go outside and it's a lot cooler with the sun going down, the boys have a blast playing with their poppits they throw on the ground. Bryce grabs his by the handful. We then let the boys stay up late and watch the Spongebob Squarepants Movie. It was just a Hot Day today!

Topic: A new day
Today went smoothly. Last Night didn't go so smoothly putting Bryce to bed. I finally just gave up and after the 20 millionth time he got out of his room I just let him stay in my bed, but kept the tv and lights off. Soon after Isaac comes in the bed, but he quickly falls asleep and I'm just to exhuasted to move him.

Isaac helped make pancakes for breakfast but didn't want to eat any. Of course our Mr.Piggy Bryce ate his pancakes and hashbrowns. We spent most of the morning after breakfast outside, killing flies. They seem to multiply worse than rabbits out here in Oklahoma. They took a nap today!! I was very relieved for that.

Isaac still has a bad cough, so I gave him robitussin today, that stuff is AWFUL. He was licking my kitchen floor mat to get the taste out of his mouth.LOL. We gave him a starburst since he took the med with no fuss.

They took a bath early today and did pretty well til Bryce looked like he had to go boo boo. He sits on the toilet for a few mins but nothing. The next thing he's boobooing on the tub.UGH. So after their bath, the boys make brownies. They did pretty good, but Bryce loves crushing eggs and when it was time for the eggs to be put in Bryce crushed his egg in his hand and got eggshells instead of yolk into the batter . He's notorious for busting cartons of eggs.

The rest of the evening went pretty smoothly except for Isaac trying to escape into the neighbors yard and Bryce pouring his own bowl of cereal. All in All today was A-ok!

Topic: The Beginning
Welcome to my first and new blog of my two boys. Isaac who is 3 and was born on Halloween 01' and Bryce who is 2 and was born on April Fool's Day 03'.I'm Katie(22) the Mom and Daryl(27) is the Daddy. Unfortunately I'm only called mom while Daryl gets to be daddy

I'm starting this July 20, but I'm gonna fill you in on stuff that's happened since Monday.So this one will be pretty long. My days go as follows:
1. wake @ 8 am
2. feed kids cocoa puffs @ 8:30. (seeing that's all they want for breakfast.)
3. from 9-10 am we watch Noggin
4. 10- noon we go outside.
5. noon-1 lunch
6. 1- whenever nap time (you'll see why later)
7. Whenever they get up from nap time- outside some more til the sun is unbearable for them and crying to come back in, or we do an indoor activity:paint, color, playdoh, ect...
8. after an hour of outside time..which is usually around 6 pm we get ready for supper.
9. 7 or so is bath time.
10. 8- movie
11. after movie time to put to bed

Ok now that you have my itinerary for the day. Now to explain the stuff in between.
Monday, July 18:
We wake up as usual. Isaac asking over and over for his cocoa puffs. Everything good and dandy there.
Can't remember much else just spent most of the morning outside cleaning their toys and doing yard work. Til bath time later that evening, when they decide to pour half the tub water over the bathroom floor and go body surfing across the floor. I see them as I'm walking back in the doorway with towels and Isaac skidding across the floor looking up laughing his head off. I'm sure they were having a ball, but leave it up to me to clean all the water.
Tues, July 19
Not much here just kids running wild. Isaac got hold of my shampoo and razor and decided that he was 30 instead of 3 and shaved his face today. Got his first razor cut.
Wed. July 20
I woke up with both boys in my bed, Scared the crap out of me cause Bryce was behind me and his head under my pillow. He was still breathing so I kicked them both out of my bed, and as I roll over I feel a wet spot. Bryce had wet my bed. What a way to start the morning. After breakfast we spend the morning outside pulling weeds, Bryce is on his bubble mower and goes near some weird looking worm, the boy jumped off and screamed and ran. I didn't know what was going on. Til I went to where the mower was and saw the worm standing up like he wanted to fight..LOL..it was really funny to see Bryce scared..The boy plays with bees. I hate Bees!
We eat lunch and tried to put them down for a nap. That doesn't happened. Bryce keeps getting out of his room and going into Isaac's. At one point we hear Isaac screaming and so we rush in there to see why he was crying and Bryce is on the bed and Isaac trying to get out. Isaac tells us that Bryce bit him. And he sure did, looked like he wanted to take half his cheek off.
Needless to say they both didn't get a nap and are up running wild. They both have coughs and nasal decongestion so we have been giving them over the counter meds for it. So I'm hoping they'll knock out early tonight. For supper they had McDonald's. Every kid in America's favorite. I'll post tomorrow on how they went to bed. Nite everyone!
